History
Balman Winery was founded in the 1960s. The first generation owner of the winery was a mechanical engineer. Like most people of that era, this land is where he spent his later years after retirement. In 1998, Tony Williams, the second-generation owner of the winery, began to plant grapes on a large scale here. In the same year, the restaurant and tasting room in the winery also started construction. For the next 18 years, Tony Williams and his son Paul Williams managed the winery and restaurant together. After three generations of painstaking efforts, they gradually established a well-known local brand, Barmah Park Vineyard.
